I just bought a 110 gallon acrylic tank and stand. My stand is a little dirty and needs a good clean. What can I clean my acrylic stand with to make it like new.

I have a glass 110 gallon aquarium that has the back side broken. The piece measures 60x21.5x3/8. Is there anyway to bond a piece of acrylic instead of glass that will with stand the water and pressure?

I am going to buy a larger aquarium soon and U am still debating size. What is the largest aquarium I could manage for saltwater? I was thinking 75 gallons or larger max being 180 gallons? I have read in several places that the bigger acrylic aquariums need to be supported on the entire base, and not just along the edges like glass tanks. I am planning to use a stand with center brace for a standard 48", 55 gallon acrylic aquarium. Is this a safe thing to do?

I live in a house built in the late 80's. Ive always lived in a 1 level house with my aquarium set up. We are renting. I have a 55 gal. acrylic with stand. The water weight alone will be 458 lbs. plus the stand, sand, tank and equipt. 1) Will the weight damage the carpet (put a piece of wood under?) 2) Location in the house is above a garage next to wall support. Will the floor supports hold it.

I have a 36" long acrylic tank, 45 gallons. Im looking for a light with a balast clamp stand with a light for reef aquariums. any links to a place that may sell these?

Would I be able to build a 400 gallon aquarium with .98 (essentially 1 inch) plexiglass? The dimensions will be 72" x 48" x 48" (6 foot x 4 foot x 4 foot) I have built other aquariums before, but not to this magnitude, and there will also be other supportive features around the top, bottom, and through the middle of the top to prevent the top of the plexiglass from bending when it is filled with water. Thanks in advance! If so, why? & If not why? Details please :) ALSO! How would I build a functioning stand for this monster? A fully filled 400 gallon aquarium weighs over 3,500 pounds. Almost 2 tons!

I have a 90 gal. acrylic fish tank. Included will be the rocks, filter, bubble bar, a 3 sm. aquarium decorations, heater, lights and hood, tank vaccum and tank scrapper. Also comes with the stand (homemade black tongue and groove), and 3 large fish : 2 chillidad and 1 chinese sucker. The filter is an Emperor Bio-wheel and the lights cost us around $20+. All the leftover fish food and acrylic glass cleaner can go too. The tank has a couple scratches but you can hardly tell if you keep it clean. How much should I charge for it all? What are the pro's and cons to each/and what is a good price for a 100 gallon tank with a stand?of both kinds.
