How to remove heavy duty adhesive from soft wood?
Okay.....When i was a kid i got this idea to decorate my aquarium stand. Thing is, I used this stuff called "shoe goo" its like the toughest adhesive i have ever seen. It dries hard as rock and grabs like nothing else. I used it to glue sea shells to the aquarium stand. I don't know what kind of wood it is, but it is very light. I have tried using putty knife but the goo pulls off pieces of wood. how can i get these things off with minimal damage to the stand and how do i cover up the damage?

Try sanding it. If you've made gouges in the wood you may need to use wood fill.
Sand it down with sandpaper. Or use a rasp file.
